Movie Review:
Dastoli Digital Winter /Spring 2004 Collection is a compilation of three short films: Occupational Hazard, Bottom Floor and Errand boys.

Occupational Hazard is a 2 minute film which displays an explosive "gag" on an unsuspecting person. This short is a good example of the special effects artistry which Dastoli Digital is a natural at.

Bottom Floor is a 11 minute film involving a rude businessman who comes upon a place he can't deceive his way out of. It starts with a meeting with a collegue and dramatically takes a plung to a nightmarish fate. Without spoiling too much, the cinematography is pushed beyond limits to give the viewer an "other-wordly" feeling.

Errand Boys is about two hitmen who make their rounds with a list of victims to pursue. They are comical and at the same time disturbing with their bantering. The "F-Bomb" is prevelent but it's fitting for these two. Expect surprises and "not-so-obvious" turns.

DVD Information:
All 3 films are done in Anamorphic Widescreen (Aspect Ratio 2.35:1) Along with Scene Selections, DVD Trailers, Theatrical Posters, Cast and Crew Filmographies, each film also has a Behind the Scenes feature. It's amazing how much time and detail is put into a Dastoli Digital film. For example, we learn that in Occupational Hazard, two of the characters who stand together were filmed seperately and then later integrated digitally. In Bottom Floor, furniture was keyed in from other sources to make it look as if it existed on the set during filming. Finally, Errand Boys shows how an idea makes it's way onto the screen.

Conclusion:
Each of these films are unique and offer repeated entertainment value. They also show a glimpse of what Dastoli Digital is capable of with the approach to diverse film genres. Combined with the Behind the Scenes features for each, this DVD is highly recommended.
